Great Lakes ChampionChip is owned and operated by Bill Fries of Portage Michigan. Bill brings a great deal of expertise, in all areas, to your event. Bill is a former teacher and coach as well as co-founder one of the finest cross country meets in the Midwest, the Portage Invitational (www.portageinvite.com) which includes 18 races, and over 6500 registered participants.
